Yes. The app is live and used by real families. We keep building and listen to what you tell us. If something does not work, let us know and we fix it, usually within days.

No. You create an account with an email address and a password. No card, no subscription that starts on its own.

Yes. SmartRelation is a web app that works in every modern browser. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like a regular app, with its own icon and notifications.

We chose a web app to update quickly and reach every phone at once. You install it from the browser in ten seconds and get the same icon, full screen and notifications. A store version may come later.

With your email address and password. You get a confirmation email when you create the account. Forgot your password? There is a link on the login page.

Under Family, tap “Invite adult” and send the link by text or email. They create an account and land directly in the same family with the same calendar.

An account in a minute, the family added in five. Enter next week’s pickups and you will see right away what the app does for you.

The app is available in Swedish and English. Each person picks their own language, so two adults in the same family can use different ones.

You each create a family and link them with an invitation. Shared children appear in both calendars, but you do not see each other’s other events. Pickups and statistics are shared between the families.

To share the schedule, yes, since that is how you both see the same thing. The app is free for both of you. If the other adult does not want to join, SmartRelation still works well for your own household.

No. Linked families only share what concerns the shared children. Your work, your new partner and your own plans stay in your family.

When you add an event you can ask another adult to approve it. It shows as pending until they say yes or no. Useful when a weekend swap needs confirming.

The app works out the split of weekends, overnights and pickups in percent over a period. That gives you facts when you talk about fairness, instead of a feeling about who did the most.

Each family can be linked to another family per shared child. Blended families with several constellations work; tell us if something feels limiting and we will look at it.

Yes. You create a login code for the child under Family. The child logs in with the code and gets a simple view of their own: today’s events, routines and rewards. No settings, no chat with strangers.

Only what the family shares with the child: today’s schedule, morning and evening routines to tick off and any reward programmes. The limits are enforced on the server, not just in the app.

You build a routine step by step, for example “brush teeth, pack the bag, get dressed”. The child ticks it off in their view. Reward programmes connect chores to points or pocket money, so everyone sees what applies.

We only store what you enter yourselves, such as name and school. No health data. Child accounts cannot invite anyone or change the family’s settings. As the guardian you can delete the child’s data at any time.

Yes. Paste the subscription link (iCal) from your existing calendar and the events appear in the family calendar and stay up to date. They can only be changed in the calendar they come from.

You type an ordinary sentence, for example “Dentist Noa Friday 3.30pm at the clinic”. The app interprets the day, time, person and place and suggests a finished event that you confirm with one tap.

Only the sentence itself is sent to an AI service (Anthropic) for interpretation, never the rest of the family’s data. The text is not used to train models. If you prefer, you can always fill in the event manually.

Yes, once the app is on your home screen you can turn on push notifications for events, approvals and pickups. You choose which ones.

Plan the week’s dinners and the shopping list is created from the ingredients. The list is shared in real time, so whoever is in the shop sees what the other just ticked off.

Yes. Schedules, certificates and photos are uploaded and accessed through time-limited links. Contacts for teachers, coaches and doctors are kept together so both adults can find them.

On our own servers within the EU. We use only a handful of providers, all under data processing agreements, and list them openly in the privacy policy.

Only the people you have invited. Each family is separated in the database, and we have no advertisers or partners who get access to anything.

Yes. We only process what the app needs to work, store within the EU, have processing agreements with every provider and describe everything in a privacy policy written in plain language. We also deleted all data from the spring test before rebuilding, rather than migrating it.

Yes. Under Settings → Privacy and account you download all your data as a file, whenever you like.

You delete the account directly in the app. Your personal data disappears immediately, and backups are overwritten within 14 days. If you are the sole owner you can delete the whole family, and all content including files goes with it.
