What people ask.
Is it really free?
Yes. SmartRelation is free to use, with no card. Optional plus features will come later for those who want more, but a free version will always exist and we will say so well in advance. We never show ads.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. SmartRelation is a web app that works in every modern browser. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like a regular app, with its own icon and notifications.
Can I connect my Google, iCloud or Outlook calendar?
Yes. Paste the subscription link (iCal) from your existing calendar and its events appear in the family calendar and stay up to date. They are only edited in the calendar they come from.
How does co-parenting work?
You each create a family and link them with an invitation. Shared children appear in both calendars, but you do not see each other’s other events. Pickups and statistics are shared between the families.
How do approvals work?
When you add an event you can ask another adult to approve it. It shows as pending until they say yes or no.
How do I log in?
With your email address and a password. You get a confirmation email when you create the account.
Who sees my family’s information?
Only the people you have invited. Every family is isolated in the database, and we have no advertisers or partners who get access to anything.
What if I want to stop?
You can export your data and delete the account right in the app. The family’s data is then permanently deleted within 30 days.
